Why are some theads in the sticky box on top? What is the criteria used to select them?

We are just playing around with sub-forums and sticky threads at this point. We had a discussion yesterday about having sticky threads to circumvent the need for subforums. That's why we have those stickies.

well the idea of subforum was to keep the distractions away and be able to focus on main CH. stickey notes no work.

The cooking/eating/drinking/smoking/singing thread do not belong to sticky. What you did one month ago will remain on top.

The idea is that people post their most recent cooking/eating/drinking in those threads. Then if you want to know what others are doing, you just see the last few posts on those thread. Of course, if they don't get much traffic, I will unsticky them.
