A close friend of mine at IIT was obsessed with this exam but placed quite low when he actually took the exam. Disillusioned, he gave up the idea and decided to continue in STEM. I'm glad it worked out that way. The world wouldn't have gained one of its cleverest exponents in the area of thermal management of electronics.
