Desi pediatrician arrested for pedophilia

Highlights
At least five video tapes were seized.
Victims ranged from 11 -24.
He has a 25 year old wife in India.
Most of his victims were Indian.
"On some of the videotapes, he has them blindfolded, laying on the examination table, and then his hands moving a camera to zoom in on their private areas,"
Punn, a civil surgeon, is allowed to give medical exams to immigrants who are applying for citizenship in the U.S. Prosecutors believe Punn preyed on his patients because many were unaware of medical practices in the U.S.
Prosecutors are urging other patients who believe they were victims of Punn's alleged abuse to come

This guy doesn't even have a medical degree from a school accredited in the United States - what the hell was he doing practising medicine here? His degree is from Punjab University - Dayanand Medical College, Punjab University.

That school is little better than a correspondence school for people who can't get into a med school in America and should not qualify someone to practice in the U.S. Wake up, folks! In India the people are allowed to bathe in rivers filled with human feces - that doesn't say much for the quality of public health care there--and the same government that approves the filthy bathing also approves their medical schools! No thanks--this guy had no business being allowed into the United States.

Happens all the time. Remember those Medical students in Grenada, that we supposedly had a war to save. There are hundreds of diploma mills in mexico too. I was sent to a Pakistani physical therapist who obviously had no training, but was working for March of Dimes! Needless to say I never went back.

My point is why are these guys GIVEN a MD in place of their MBBS after passing the USMLE - 2? The DOs also do the same residency as the (Real) US MDs, but they are not given MD in place of their DO.
The AMA is screwy.
okiee.. how these desis and messicans end up being INS docs... The INS is allowed to hire phoren Pseudo "MDs" after their residencies. The real US MDs (the ones coming out of the 6-yr direct program) opt for the INS-type jobs for 3 years in exchange for writing off a major fraction of their loans.
When I went for my physical exam, it was a Messican doc who was bad mouthing other messican immigrants as illiterates. (An arab woman in a black purdah had no objection to show her entire body to the Messican INS doc - bcz she valued her GC more than Allah, Mohammed or the Koran.
