CH 101 -- who is AS?

AS is arvind swami. he is a very creative person and a guy with a flair for writing. till upto 2005, i think, he used to use several handles in CH. he 'fessed up to them in '05 and stopped participating thereafter.

he was also an involved CHer -- and we must know this -- 'cos when sulekha stopped it's chat feature, he started one hosted by him and it was a success (we are replicating his deeds in a sense). to my mind he did not participate after that confession. perhaps he got busy with life.

he has since returned in the QB-R handle (compelled to come out of his lurking status to lash out at he dumbest insect in CH and i can totally understand his behaviour for i would have done the same). you can ask me why i think QB-R is AS and i will answer.

It is not nice to deride a child of God. She is just a child and is bound to be wrong on everything. Some learn fast and some have learning disabilities, and still others have autism-like learning deficiencies that last a life time. She is just a 2 year old child in a 30 year old who thinks female but unable to act like one.

Nevertheless, she is equally a precious child of God.

I think YES, for the following reasons:

1. 5 years(?) after he stopped posting, people are still talking about him. TS and QB still have nightmares about him.

2. He seems to have been really creative with versatile handle switches. HK posted an old thread with a long list of handles. (Incidentally, one of the handles listed there was QB Randi. I don't think the same person would come back with a handle that was already outed. I also found two different QB Randi profiles on Sulekha).

3. He seems to have been popular with the Sulekhinis, with rumors of affairs and a bad boy reputation.

4. As per TS's latest response to Kris, he even owned a porn site and got deported back to India because of that.

Only things I have not heard about him so far - he is a druglord and a pimp. Who wouldn't want the reputation? At this point, it almost sounds like a title than a person - like the Dalai Lama or the Phantom. I hope I can live upto the name.

One positive thing that happened - after TS & QB accused me of being Arvind Swamy, I got notes from a bunch of people, some active and some not even active on Sulekha. I was able to make connections and friends quickly.

true. but there were other strong similarities between QB Randi (handle then) and QB-Randi (a handle now). both typed in lowercase; used "u" in place of "you" and used the word "bosudi" (an unusual spelling). why would someone use a handle that had already been outed? i suppose 'cos memory is short and we would never have been able to connect (i connected by sheer accident), least of all the single digit IQ the regal insect. then again, perhaps AS did not really wish to hide his identity (from QB).

that reference by TS was to me. he believes i was deported from the US and that i i owned desibaba.com etc. he has said that in the past too. TS vacillates between thinking Some Profile is AS and me.

am farrr too lazy to have multiple handles. to wit: my wife's been hounding for ages to change batteries in the smoke detectors and check the attic. while doing that, I found that my water heater in the attic is nearly 30% rusted (the outershell) and havent changed the air filters in the past 1.5 yrs. now that is a lazy man not given to registering multiple handles and harassing enemies.

I also need to repair a couple of loose panels on my fence, fix a \sprinkler head etc but the lure of chips, green felt and tense expressions across the table are too hard to resist...

Don't be lazy with the water heater... replace it before its warranted period - perhaps at the 9th year.

If the water pipe/heater breaks - did u say it is in the attic ? - the water will ruin the carpet, walls/sheetrock 1 foot from the floor. If it is in the attic, it might ruin your entire wall, the ceiling, electricals and lightings. All have to replaced and INSPECTED. It will cost you 20 to 30K and the house resale value will plummet.

Oh...none of this is covered by your insurance, and on top of that your insurance will be cancelled and you will pay a higher insurance.

advice you can get only from a Saaamiyaar.

I already dealt with water damage in my house in the 3rd year of purchase. I verified that the inner shell isnt rusted yet - just the outer shell. I plan on getting it replaced later in the year
