In ancient India, begging and performing service to society were taught, during childhood, to calm down one's ego, shed the feeling of ownership and foster activities in the interest of society at large. This gentleman is putting into practice what he was taught as a ritual when he was a kid.

May India see the wisdom in people like him and shed her fashion secular arrogance, corruption and mindless materialism. Tamasoma jyotirgamaya!

This is a great example for countering the lies of Christian evangelists who claim that Hindus do not care about others.
