That is only an initial limitation to discourage spambots. After you have posted a few times (10 replies or less, I think), the system automatically recognizes you as a human and lets you post as often as you want without any wait. Also, the wait is usually 1 - 3 minutes. It increases to 10 minutes only if you try too many times on your second or third post.

I have officially given up on my forums. Quotes are a pain in the ass and that is a deal breaker.

I like quotes here, but Tracy has already discovered a bug. It is not too big to be a deal breaker.

I have never experienced the crashes. But then, I have only been there a few times. I liked the simple, fast-loading interface. I also liked the tree view that supports hundreds and thousands of comments.

Why do the subreddits die?
