Banning Guns Vs Banning a movie Empty Banning Guns Vs Banning a movie

There are quite a few people on this forum who are fervently calling for banning the possession of guns by individual citizens. They say any crazy guy regardless of whether he is right wing or not could go and pump bullets into innocent human beings.

But the same individuals vehemently oppose JJ banning a movie when crazy religious fanatics threaten to create mayhem and destruction. After all, she wants to save lives and property.

Why this inconsistency?
