Nemo dumped about 2 feet of snow in my neighbourhood. It is still falling. Drifting snow piled up snow to lower levels of windows and doors. Hamden, ct got nearly 3 ft of snow by 2 am. Coastal ct got high winds. Ri and ma are also getting hit pretty bad.

3 ft. even with my monster snow blower it's a tremendous amount of work. taking a break. our cul de sac has a valley and our house is in the valley. some of the snow that i blew off unfortunately landed in front of the house. i had to wade through thigh high snow to get my snow shovel which i had absent mindedly left in a difficult to reach spot. fun fun fun. still coming down.

Max,
Thanks for the concern. Good news is we still have power. Staying inside and staying warm is the plan.
Most of the times weather forecasts were hyped but in this case we got they predicted.
Hope you can dig yourselves out of your driveway.

Your thanks should be sent to Maria who was the one that expressed the concern.
Last time also you got confused between Uppili and Rishi (I think) and Uppili didn't correct you deliberately.

Expect the Republicans claiming that Global warming has ended or it was all fake to start with.

B-a,
thanks for correction.

Maria,
apologies for mix up. We are doing fine. Drive way is clear. Surprisingly roads are clear too. Temps are going down but that is to be expected. Thanks again.

Moved to ct couple of years ago. Mentioned that in few posts. In this time i saw a summer storm that knocked out half of ct power followed by freak november 1st week storm that dumped 12in and massive power cuts. A winter of 74 in in 2011 and less than 20in in 2012. In mn there is consistency, it is either bone chilling cold or hot prairie summer.new england weather is great most of the time except for these wild surprises.
