Is Modi eligible for the post considering his detractors say that the common man in Gujarat has not benefitted by his reforms (see the latest articles on this in frontline magazine www.flonnet.com ) and that he had some hand in the Gujarat riots. The careers of all those Congress leaders who were alleged to have had a hand in the 1984 riots was over, so how dare a section of the BJP project Mr Modi as the future PM?
