tennis - girly sport? Empty tennis - girly sport?

Having a HUGE argument with kids... stupid kids (mostly girls) think it's a girly sport, and giggle whenever they hear of any guy in their school playing tennis, or a teacher being a tennis coach. One of her friends can't believe she is seeing a tennis player.

After my long yelling down about serve speeds, heights, stamina, strength, etc, they are saying it's a TOUGH sport just to not piss me off, but they are still giggling as they talk about the players' outfits, and how they grunt every time they hit the ball.

In USA yes, in Europe no. it is all perception.
