its the best time to be in chennai, other than december:-) growing up, used to dance in three to four different shiva temples in chennai around this time and then finish up in chidambaram dancing for the natyanjali festival.

There are some quality carnatic music concerts happening in chennai now for shivarathri. IMO, the artists probably because they do not feel the pressure of competition that is predominant in the december season, perform in their natural state and it shows.

God, how much i miss all of this!
