The GOI should compel every tourist who is either white or Asian to hire trained and armed bodyguards. This should happen right when these tourists land at an airport in India.

If they travel as a group then they should hire at least two to protect them round the clock.

How about charging $30 per day for one security guy?

All these chaps should be licensed and undergo rigorous training.

Wow...you're truly amazing, Unkil. One winning idea after another...Once they're provided paid private security against rape and robbery, the world's tourists will surely beat a path to our doorstep. Not only will our tourism revenues double next year, we'll also be earning so much $$$ from security services. Two birds with one stone. Awesome. An interesting comment on CNN in response to Swiss woman gang rape in India.

"How many tourists feel safe camping out in "Camden, New Jersey" and not expect being mugged or assaulted?"

The problen with this is that there are too many gaping security holes all over India, compared to USA.
