After completing BSc at 20yrs (probably B.Com), it should not be difficult to pass the exam. Probably, she took her intermediate exam after 12th and 'worked" as an under-study under some friend of her dad...

So it is neither impossible nor out of the ordinary.

But, the media does what the media does - when there is no gang-rape news on a day.
