That's pretty drastic... going from over 1,000 girls to boys in 2001, to 800s now. I wonder how the relative peace in Kashmir (compared to 2001) affected the numbers. Perhaps more of those ultrasound and gender-selective abortion facilities got started because of the relative peace. It's also possible the numbers in this census are a lot more credible than those of the last census.

The iSalaami effect is showing up finally in Kashmir. At Osama's rate of virgin allocation, most Kashmiri men will be in trouble.

If that's the case, what is your explanation for the low gender ratio in Haryana? Did the "iSalaami effect" show up there before it made its way to Kashmir?

The lower female population in North - including haryana - is due to Akbari effect. They did not have much influence on kashmir bcz of its heavy Brahmin population before 1947. Now, the Osama-iSalaami effect isruining Kashmir.

If they do, it still won't mean it is "iSalaami" influence. It could be conjectured by Paki saamiyaars that it is Hindu influence.

Of course they... do they do.......all the time.... But we hindus know very well that for every hindu liar there are 10 iSalaami liars. Also, we know hindu SaamiYaars NEVER lie and it is against our religion.
