Snowdon Saga Empty Snowdon Saga

By revoking his passport while he was on plane to Russia, the US gave a great excuse for teh Russians to ground Snowdon in Moscow and hold onto him for their own "debriefing" They now can blackmail Snowdon into giving up all the classified info (which he claimed to know everything) or else to deport him to US Embassy.

The US should have waited until he was on his way to Ecuador and them put pressured it. It is easier to put pressure on Ecuador than Cuba, Russia or China.

It is a huge, doubly huge strategic blunder. Now, the Russian and Chinese Commies both will know every agent and method that the US has in place.

Agreed! US can bully Ecuador more easily than Russia or China.

Why is everybody ready to destroy poor Ecuador. First Assange and now Snowden. Ecuadorians must be looking to hide somewhere... outside Ecuador.
