A sensible solution for Seemandhra and Telangana: Krishna and Godavari states!

The proposed division of AP into Seemandhra and Telangana (or RayalaTelangana) is fraught with problems (mainly water-sharing, investments in Hyderabad, concentrated location of central institutes in Hyderabad, etc).

If CONmen are prepared to divide Rayalaseema in half and add 2 district to Telangana and 2 to Seemandhra, why can't they do a more sensible thing?

Here is a better solution: Divide AP horizontally, from West to East, into two states, one along river Krishna and the other along Godavari. This way, the areas upstream along the rivers will cooperate with those downstream in water-sharing and both areas can develop. Hyderabad will be in the middle and so, can be a common capital for both (or have Hyderabad as the capital of Krishna state and Secunderabad as the capital of Godavari state). In addition, plans for diversified economic development (in Seema, Northern Kosta, Adilabad, etc.) can be put in place along with the division.

In ancient times, across the old world, cities and civilizations thrived along rivers for centuries (Nile, Indus, Mekong, Ganga, Tigris .....).

Wait till your favorite parties come to power in center & state; we will end up with 50+ states with the possibility of redrawing each and every state line. Even better, we can permanently have a portfolio in cabinet to handle State Reorganization(s) this will help manage expectations and ever-changing allegiances of our Janata.

Yeah, JP once said that small states can succeed if created on administrative grounds and panchayats are empowered.
