Capital of SA - six cities in contention Empty Capital of SA - six cities in contention

I think the SA guys are dumb. Instead of finding ways to squeeze the center for money for building a new capital, the cities are fighting among themselves and trying to sell their virtues. That could potentially turn the center into a mere adviser but no money. SA should focus on building a nice capital in a relatively backward area in the State with money from the center, and thereby develop it. They should not let the center go scot free and not pay for the mistake it made in dividing the state. There is even some talk about the center advising SA on its capital. That's the result of the disgusting obsequious behavior of the SA ministers and MPs towards that Bharat-ki-Bahurani (Kavuri, NTR's daughter, Undavalli, to name a few) for selfish reasons. They and all others who kept mum should all be voted out in the next election.

The lobbying is more to do with how much money they can make if the capital comes to their constituency. Even for scientific meetings in India, such lobbying takes place since the guys who win, will loot the funds awarded for the function.

Recent demand by some Rayalaseema politicians to create a "greater Rayalaseema" with the inclusion of Nellore and Prakasam, is another disturbing development. It seems both Telangana and Seema politicians take Andhra for granted. Andhra has been kicked around during the separation from Madras, by greedy T-guys and now by Seema guys. Yet, self-serving Andhra politicians are sleep walking. They don't seem to care if Krishna and Godavari dry up and Kosta agriculture suffers.

Disgusting creatures who will sell their mothers if that brings money and power.

I think SA should leave the decision to the High Command and whtevr city is selected by HC they should rename it as Sonia Puram or Rahul Puram.

Haha, that would be consistent with what they have been doing so far -- both SA and T politicians, in fact.

They should instead go to K'nidhi and get advice. The capital of Telangana should be named Andhrapuram and Andhra, Hyderabad.
