Oh pretty good. We aren't traveling all that much. Just a few weekend trips here and there with DH because of his schedule and we have dogs and backyard chickens to care for. Luckily, we have some helpful redneck neighbors who also have dogs and backyard chickens, so we drop them off at their house (with food), and they are always happy to take care of our dogs and chickens.

They were gifts from DH's patients, along with a beautiful hand-made wooden coop (among other gifts like fresh venison/deer meat...we have a freezer full of venison and fresh fish straight out of the rivers and creeks in the area)

I had a wire chain fence built to let them roam free behind the house. We're waiting for them to start laying eggs and then we plan on gifting most of the eggs to all the people who have been so nice to us. The dogs have grown very fond and protective of them too.

I guess I can also live in a place like this, with chickens, dogs, etc. provided I get a super dose of local gossip and scandals.

I get that too. Like I said rampant fraud, even committed by the desis here who are taking the government and federal taxpayers for a ride.
