Thiruvananthapuram: Temple boards in Kerala have received a letter from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) seeking details of the stock of gold in their possession, a temple board official said Thursday......
RBI's Regional Director Salim Gangadharan confirmed that a letter had been sent, but clarified: "The RBI has no plans to buy gold, and this exercise is nothing but part of a statistical exercise."
Merlotans must be jumping with joy at this "statistical" exercise.

Do not know about this Salim guy, but the Political Islamist Controlled Kerala government has been used to get Islamists to be appointed in Key Central government posts in Kerala. There is a case going on about the regional passport officer in Mallapuram, who apparently was the body guard of one IUML politician.Marathadi-Saamiyaar wrote:

Now god knows how many passports were issued to Non-Indians (Pakis, Bangladeshis and others in Kerala)
Key ministries in Kerala are now under the control of Political Islamists who are using it to bring in Political Islam in Kerala. If this goes on unchecked, allegedly,"Jaziya" days for Non-muslims in Kerala is not far away. There was a proposal for Christians and Hindus to unite and oppose Political Islam. Hope that happens!
