Note that the secular memebrs of SuCH will not utter a word on this - let alone criticize the mullahs. Except perhaps one who might give a token lip service, all others are faithful followers of the Maualanas of SuCH.

IUML is a party that represents most of North Kerala. Now if such a mainstream party in alliance with Congress opposes a national law, what is Congress going to do about it? It is news to me that if something is NOT mentioned in constitution it is automatically assumed to be given protection. By that logic I can claim constitutional protection for everything and anything not mentioned in constitution. What is unavoidable circumstances? May be we should go looking for definitions of these in Pakistan, Bangladesh & Saudi Arabia, where some idiotic Mullah, allegedly defined that, as long as a girl can bear the weight of a man she can become somebody's wife. I Wonder why Aamir Khan does not make a Satyameva Jayate episode on this ? Where is Rashid Alvi, Ahmed Patel , Rehman Khan , NCM and other busy bodies in Congress? It is one thing to do something in some remote panchayat, but to change law is something else. Where is the so called "inclusive(code word for appeasement) civil society" that wants Skull Caps everywhere, and why they don't talk about this ? I am really amazed that Muslims in Kerala, with the distinction of 100% literacy are like this. Just goes to prove that any talk about poverty and illiteracy being the cause of terrorism is all hogwash. None of the educated Muslims speak up! The root cause is in their Political Islamic doctrine. Indian Muslims community are becoming retrograde day by day, turning the clock back to 10th century, and they have systematically prevented reforms, with respect to laws concerning women.

Upps Aunty, those Muslim groups are not behaving any differently from how you chaddis had protested against the GoI's attempt to legislate against these practices amongst Hindus. Even after 4 posts we are yet to see you criticize the iSlamis for opposing child marriage and/or their killing 60 Christians in Kenya and 60 Christians in Pakisaitan. Since you refuse to condemn, we take it that you are actually behind these Jehadi actions.
