clinched world series @ home for the first time in 95 years; so does this carry more weight than the other two championships? especially than the one that broke Bambino's curse.

no don't think so. 2004 was special, but this is good too, probably sweeter than 2007. IMO they did it with a less talented and more scrappy team than 2004. these guys have made getting half the side at the beginning of the year on short one year contracts a science. all these guys who've starred in this year's win - victorino, david ross, jonny gomes, and steven drew were brought in on one year deals.
