Yes. GAL (Miss), MAN (he), moan (hom indicator), YAAN (a hom of yaan), MANGAL (Miss after he).
goes around Mars (describes Mars). And Mangalyaan goes sround Mars.

However, #10 STRAIN (dd) is incorrect. The correct answer for # 10 is -
10. Struggles singing a sequence of notes. (6) ---- PHRASE (like a musical phrase) as a hom of "frays" (struggles).
