Already politicians are stating that one should forget and look forward to working with Pakistan. When it comes to Pakistan, the fear is not Osama - but the Taleban (getting the power through its proxies in the ISI/Army) and the nuke button.

That is many times more dangerous than Osama in Abotabad.

Expect attacks on India to surge dramatically.

The logic is the al-Q will take time to reorganize and Taleban - which is vying for power and Glory in Jehadistan - will push for expansion and consolidation. Also, they will be afraid that the focus will turn to Taleban as the one that is more organized, back by a significant military, and sitting close to Nukes. If anyone can get a "govt" with nukes, it is the Taleban.

They need to quickly establish their grip on the situation and will do everything to take over the Ummah leadership - before the Ayotollahs move in. The only way the jehadists attract attention and inflict fear is by terror acts. They will cite a US-Zionist-Indian nexus and hit the easy target next door, with the added incentive that India will be prevented from retaliating against a vulnerable Pakistan. This will also bolster their power within the ISI and closer to the seat of pakistani power. expect a military coup in Pakistan within 3 to 6 months. It is already too long that a non-military guy is running the Govt. and the military does not need a civilian facade now that the US Aid is likely to be put on hold for quite some time.
