Emily Lakdawala's blogs are very informative and educational. I've seen a few other animations of the "mother of all slingshots," once with the Orbiter breaking across the Moon's orbit around the earth (Forbes site has it). Now we have keep our fingers crossed on the last big hurdle - entry into Martian orbit.

I found this animation from sankara.net, also posted in the comments section of emily's blog, to be very good, and I think it is also  maintained continuously, updating the positions as time progresses.

Yes. Exactly the same animation I found in the Forbes site. Zoom it in and then start the animation. It shows better, almost like an Olympic athlete throwing a hammer.
