Mythology tells us not to lie standing at the banks of Ganga. But Modi creates a new mythology of lies. In his speech in Varanasi on 20th December, 2013, he was as usual throwing around his “developed” lies about how clean and beautiful he has made ‘his’ Sabarmati river is and how dirty Ganga has become due to Congress misrule. Ahmedabadi’s ofcourse know the truth. After spending thousands of crores to build the concrete embankment along Sabarmati, Gujarat Government released Narmada water from the Narmada main canal into Sabarmati river which itself is is in violation of the Narmada Tribunal award. Be that as it may, the water lasts for a few days before it flows away to the sea . What is left behind is the dirty algae slush and the stink. This is the fate of Sabarmati for most part of the year.

jhoot = lies
bolna = telling
bandh kar = stop it

so the words would mean 'stop telling lies'
