Nice title. Should government involve in finding that elusive soul, or should the search for it be left to that religion's practitioners?

What soul are they talking about?

Semitic religions (Judaism, Christianity and iSlam) all went through the same fanatical phase. In the case of Judaism the dogma of Moses (chosen people vs. non-believers), in the case of Christianity the crusaders and the witch hunts (religious people vs. infidels and heretics; Gog-loving people vs. Satan-worship of scientists) and, in the case of iSlam, true followers of God vs. kafirs and infidels (the attacks on temples in Iran, Egypt, India, Bamiyan, etc.; the killing of non-believers).

Judaism of today is a lot more moderate than what it used to be. Christianity is subdued by science and logic. Currently, iSalm is doing the bid for the old Judaism and Christianity - perpetuating and protecting dogma.

A little bit of education goes a long way in turning fanatics away from their attachment to dogma and the violence associated with it.

The next generation will see either a moderate iSalm that will look like the current Christianity in Europe or its death.

So, what is the soul that has been driving these dogmatic religions? Someone already identified it (and he has a fatwa on his head):  Satan!
