looking for a Tamil song Empty looking for a Tamil song

in the song there is a beautiful girl on a boat with a boatman. The boatman tries talking to her in broken english and she is amused but doesn't say anything. then she herself starts talking to him in tamil. then the song begins. if you know the song i am talking about, please post it. thanks.

ok i remember one more detail: towards the end of the song the lyrics change from tamil to english. also either the name of the song or the name of the movie starts with the letters 'Po..' as far as i remember.

Oh...That is a GREAT movie... they created sets to replicate the Madras city of the 30s, 40s, and 70s as realistically as possible - with trams, etc...which were stopped in the 60s.

BTW, that hero Arya is a Mechanical Engineer from Crescent Engineering College -one of the early donation colleges and considered a decent college..

Uncle Wiki says she is a one-movie wonder "Manasi Parekh" a Gujju girl who comes these days in hindi TV serials. I never head of that movie but apparently a comedy that got good reviews. Should see - as it does not have any big stars - it should be good.
