I had a professor in graduate school. He had just gotten married. And his wife showed up for the class. Looking at her, I thought there was something "abnormal" about this marriage. She always asked a lot of questions to her husband. I could feel the intense chemistry between them.

One of my classmates remarked "his class is OK as long as his wife is not there."

Now I come to know that she was 21 years older than him.

Btw, was the prof. an Iyer?  (most of your posts in the recent past are about Iyer mother-son combos, with sons working in good professional positions).

for me, that would be someone who is 19-year-old right now. Same age as my nieces.
