Today, both Sushma and Joshi told the media that they are not opposed to what the parliamentary board decides. Joshi went one step further - he said that he is a faithful soldier of the party and will abide by its decision.

Just imagine what MT or Pappu will do if Amethi or Bareili is given to anyone else.

Let's focus on Joshi first. He said that the final decision will be taken by the parliamentary board. Joshi has some sway here because Joshi, Advani and Swaraj are all in the parliamentary board. Second, Joshi said something which reads like a veiled threat to Modi and Modi supporters:

"The party would take a decision which will neither dent the prestige of our PM candidate nor compromise party's winning chances," he said.
