his eyes

it was a dark winter night
with just the streets light on
his face high above mine, so chiseled
raised foreheard stubborn nose and strong jaw bones
if this wasn't enough to make me go weak
it was his eyes that did me in
the piercing the softness the love
and the smile that said everything

Did you say you were a Rajput or Kshatriya? Too bad. I was hoping for 'akshara laksha' (a lakh a letter) kind rewards there

Nope. Gareeb Brahmin here. But if I had that many lakhs of dollars... I would so totally pay off my mortgage and buy a rental property.
