Srilankan refugees in Rajahmundry? Empty Srilankan refugees in Rajahmundry?

Wonder why they wandered so far north from Chennai and other traditional Srilankan refugee places. What I find interesting is the difference between Bengali refugees and these Srilankans. The Indian govt., settled many Bengali refugees from the then East Pakistan about 50 miles away from our home town in Orissa, with each refugee family alloted 4 acres of land and 2 pairs of bullocks and some farm implements. They just sold everything for a song to go back to live on the streets ibn Calcutta. In contrast, these Srilankans, it appears are venturing far from their cultural/language bonds.

When a Srilankan refugee boat was rescued when it was drifting in the sea near Kakinada (about 40 miles from Rajahmundry), they had to scour the city to find somebody who could communicate with them (they found couple of Kerala nursing students who spoke a smattering of Tamil).

Expansion of the Tamil country - now covers Rajamundry.

Watch out for Tamil Naval force and Tamil Air Force, and their plan to surround Hindia.
