is this a direct translation from hindi, i.e. nAm lEnA? i have never read or heard of this usage in any mainstream american or british media outlets. does the toilet paper of india not have enough resources to hire a correspondent who doesn't have to first write out his article in hindi and then attempt to translate it?

All those labels apply to limpwristed folks who tremble at the sound of names like Karimullah. My objection to Bangladeshi illegal immigrants is based solely on the illegality of their actions and not their religion.

What is Turkey planning to do eventually with Syrian refugees pouring into that country recently ... send them back to Syria after the situation gets better there or let them stay permanently in Turkey even when there is no more the war in Syria and Syria even has a Govt. "elected" by the people?

Similar problem brewing en Los Esidos Unidos as well. In the last 5 years already almost all bill boards, application forms, notices are in English and spanish. Over the last 20 years it is easy to ntice that the illegal messicans in the 30s dont bother, care to learn English as they can live comfortably with Spanish. Their circle of friends and relatives is large enough there is no need. After 20 years, the messicans will expect all americans to know/learn spanish. The "line of Mexican predominance" is slowly moving north.

Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee today said the Centre was considering a proposal to give work permits to migrants from Bangladesh, who could not be evicted due to certain problems.

“The Centre is considering seriously the proposal to issue work permits to Bangladeshi migrants suspected to be foreigners but could not be evicted due to a host of legal and constitutional problems”, Mr Vajpayee told a election rally for the AGP-BJP candidates at the Police Parade Ground here.

The Prime Minister admitted that deportation of the Bangladeshis from Assam at present was impossible because of many “legal problems and constitutional hindrances”.

Do you know what happened to Satyendra Dubey (an IIT alumnus .. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satyendra_Dubey) when he sought the Govt. help (during Vajpayee's prime ministership) to get rid of corruption in his dept.?
