Only if this is making BJP get less than 25 seats in Bihar, we can consider that Lalu played a spoilsport. 75 seats from both Bihar and UP is the threshold BJP needs to cross. Surveys so far indicate that it is very much within the BJP's reach to meet and beat this number.

Between Rajasthan, MP, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, Karanataka, Chattisgarh (132 seats), BJP is sure of securing in the 100-125 range. That puts them in the 200 ball park by themselves. They'll need allies to contribute another 75-80 seats (both pre and post poll ones).
