Why cannot the news/reporters tell the truth? Some other site reported that couple of youths burnt a 'Sikh religious flag' which resulted in riots..

This is clearly politically motivated. We can easily guess by whom. As Modi's govt may be taking over, we see more efforts by the 'secularists' and 'muslim communalists' to create such communal clashes. It's going to be an uphill task for Modi's govt to control these.

We can already see the glee of CD and his eagerness to blame the chuddies. Kinda like, 'see...we told you so. India is going to be riddled with communal clashes when modi takes over and it already started.'

Sikhs wear 5 Ks - Kesh (hair), Kripan (sword/dagger/knife), Kanga (a comb), Kaccha (langot/underwear), and Kara (a bracelet). May be he was trying to say kaccha, and said chaddi by mistake.

There were heated arguments between the two communities the night before regarding this issue. that's what is reported in the papers.
