The BJP candidate was named Chandu Lal Sahu. On the last date of nomination, 10 Chandu Lal Sahu's also filed nomination and then went AWOL.

It almost worked, these other Chandu Lal's almost got 40000 votes, but eventually the real Chandu Lal Sahu won by a Whisker.

Ahhhhh....even here Maulana Rashmunullah Al-Akbari's small happiness is ruined.

Interestingly as reported before, even Naveen Jindal is alleged to have adopted the same tactic, and even then he lost.
