Leaders of the BJP-led NDA allies, like the Telugu Desam Party, Akali Dal and the Lok Janshakti Party, are also likely to find a place in the Council of Ministers.

Good thing is that it's not a coalition govt. He's not depending on him for his govt's survival. Right now he's including them in the council of ministers as a goodwill gesture/gratitude. If they resort to blatant corruption in future, he'll have the freedom to take tough action and i hope he'll be tough on corruption.

Is modi not aware of the history of the parties he is aligning with?  Just because he got 272plus, he can change tune now? Remember Modi was the force behind bringing back yedurappa. it may look unnecessary now but in early 2014 that looked good for an eager Modi.
