if you're talking about seenu, I have literally seen his lunch when we were at school together; I can vouch for the thayir sAdham. He was smallish and slim then.

Later, at college (A.C. College of Technology), coached by Ramanathan Krishnan, he played decent tennis.

The chins are a later development.

Can you remind us about your comments on self-loathing Tambrahms ? I seem to have some trouble understanding that concept. Or is it not self-loathing if Iyers make fun of Iyengars thayir sAdam eventhough they both are TamBrahms? And while you are at it I would also like to know your opinion on people craving the approval of the likes of the "evil loser".

England, Aussies, and the white men are no angels. They are smooth talking, non-violent looters with a friendly smile. If only a threat can get them down on their knees then Srini/BCCI did a great service to the non-whites.

Srini being a crook and a conman - is an entirely different story and the SC and the Indian cricket establishment are to blame for that.
