The British Spy- Ms. Gertrude Bell who "made history"-helped to create Iraq.

Interesting read..how and when people with entirely different civilizational roots and culture are artificially held together- redesigning national borders, coexisting is possible..but, cracks show and break ups are natural when internal balance is tilted, and external forces have vested interests.

Wherever the Brits influence ventured the place was a chaos (including SuCH).

Iraq is like the pre-independence British India. The earlier Iraq splits into 3 autonomous regions under an Saddam or Assad like figure or into independent nations the better it is for the region.

Then there is the Saudi-Jordanian Wahabi-Hashemite split; Syrian - Lebanese split, The great Israeli-Palestinan draw - all these are artifically drawn by the western whites who didn't (still don't) understand the psychology of ancient tribes, civilizations and societies.
