So disappointed with that last minute goal from Portugal. US should have kept up the attack instead of hoping for the clock to run out. The next game is against Germany which is supper efficient and ruthless. In the last world cup Germany made like 5 or 6 goals against Argentina. Unless US does something special, it is going to be very tough.

they only have to draw against germany. if they lose, the more likely result, they still have a a chance to make it by beating the winner of the portugal-ghana game.

unless portugal beats ghana with 5-0/6-0, both ghana and portugal are out.
Ghana beat portugal with goal difference of 2...unlikely ?
US and Germany will most likely be going to round of 16. Today's match was fantastic.
No country has qualified yet in this group -- group of death.
