KARIMNAGAR:

Disturbed over not getting selected as Hindi pandit through DSC-2002
examination, 25-year-old K. Vasantha Devi committed suicide by hanging
to the ceiling of her residence in Baghathnagar locality of Karimnagar
town on Thursday.


Police said that Vasantha Devi had qualified in the DSC-2002
examinations and her results were withheld following alleged
irregularities in the selections process.


Following the court intervention, the DSC-2002 results were announced recently, but her name was missing.


Disheartened over not getting selected as Hindi pandit, she committed suicide by hanging in her house.
