A child's Belief in Santa, is an adult's faith in God.

We as humans, the ones who have found the faith (absolute in Nature) in ANYTHING or ANYONE, be it ANY form - start believing that the entity we believe in IS God.

Wwe miss the fact that God is actually IN our faith in that picture, statue, Kuran, Puran, Veda, Bible, Vaishno Devi etc. itself.

God is IN our faith. Hence WITHIN.

Just like Santa is IN kid's.

Random logic to atheism,
TS.

In my mind, it explains the craziness that goes around with adults killing each other in name of religion.

"Faith" is the biggest force on our planet.

Ones who have it, when they have it wrongly, destroy this planet.

The problem with "Faith" is that is has "NO" adjective i.e. It is neither "right" nor "wrong" - you have it, or you dont - but what kind you have, depends on your intelligence.

So, exists ISIS. They "DO" believe in "THEIR" Santa.

Its a shame on human intelligence to decipher "right" from "wrong" vs. "faith".

random pains on how human mind works,
TS.

Isn't human intolerance the culprit for all this havoc? Whatever happened to the "Live and let live" approach? Why should religion be the manipulator of "My way or the highway" attitude? Why cast someone an infidel just because he doesn't accept your conditioned belief, so you are willing to kill him for it?

Random questions ...

Exactly. Why kill a Shudra, or refuse to marry your kid, because of some one's "conditional" belief? Please realize that a "faith or belief system", cannot be judged one-sided. It has NO side! :-)

GC, I am so glad that you came here on this site so we can a healthier discussion.

when did "live and let live" ever exist? humankind wouldn't have such a violent history if that ever existed.

As much as a Guru "chooses" his disciple, a disciple "finds" his Guru. I seek.

This is fun and I can take some time off from posting SG videos Smile

I want to save these posts and hopefully in 10+ years I would see BW/MAX/GC/TS may be in a similar ashram possibly in 'ecstasy' (not the drug).

TS: This SG was a college drop out, was a businessman and family man and still able to become a Guru...

What if a human thinks their birth is a mistake?

They were born, so now they are forced to think why they are?

Silly.

At this point, I wish I never was.

To even worry about why I am.
