How should Genuine Hindus oppose Chaddi Hindus? Empty How should Genuine Hindus oppose Chaddi Hindus?

Chaddi hindus have a peculiar characteristic. Like all religious extremists they are fanatics. and so they do not like any kind of religious syncretism taking place. they prefer a puritan religious ideology.this is illustrated in the fact that they are eager to convert prominent sufi shrines--which are tombs of sufi saints--into hindu temples. An example of this is the Haji Malang Shrine near Bombay. Chaddi hindus represented by the Shiva Sena claim that this is no sufi shrine--rather it is the samadhi of a hindu godman according to them. they say the whole place should be converted into a hindu temple. in my opinion this effort of the Chaddis to convert sufi shrines into hindu temples should be resisted by genuine hindus.

Note: In Madhi village, Ahmadnagar, Maharashtra, the chaddi hindus have succeeded in converted the sufi mazhaar (sufi shrine) of Shah Ramzan Mahi Savar (a sufi saint) into a hindu temple. Outside the main structure housing the tomb there is now a trishul and a temple bell. Pictures of Lord Shiva and Santoshi Mata adorn the tomb while images of a dozen other hindu deities adorn the walls. Thus other than the actual tomb there is no trace of the fact that this is a sufi shrine and not a hindu temple.

----
the problem with converting a sufi shrine into a hindu temple is that muslims will stop coming to the hindu temple. the sufi shrine is a very special place where both hindus and muslims come to worship so why not maintain the age old tradition which helps bring people together?
