the Middle East (MERS, Bird Flu?), Africa (Ebola, Dengue, everything-resistant Malaria), China (Updated Flu varieties every year - Hongkong Flu, Swine Flu, etc.), and the U.S (AIDS). Doesn't India have anything to contribute to the deadly disease spectrum after the Bubonic Plague thingie a few years ago? btw, where did Chickengunya originate from?
I remember Indian planes were sprayed and disinfected when they landed in the Middle East and Europe back then. May be it's time to drench in Phenol these Emirates / Gulf Air /Saudia / Egypt Air and other planes when they land in Delhi and Bombay.

there was a program on NOVA with explanation for why new strains of influenza originate in china and southeast asia..it has to do with the close proximity of humans and domesticated animals, in some case where there's cross contamination of food each eat...so avian diseases crosses the human threshold and spread.

what I heard about africa is that it's one of the last frontiers where humans are still coming into contact with primitive world and previously unseen diseases are making the leap from animals to humans.
