...India today assured Sri Lanka that it remains committed to assist Colombo in its post-conflict rehabilitation and reconciliation process.

Do you support this or oppose the hindian help in the rehab of Tamils?

We know India gave lots of money to Lanka "to help Tamils" without any overseeing. There are independenmt reports brand new houses are build in Jaffna Peninsula and Sinhala families are settled. Some money was used to build shining Buddhist temples.

Several years ago Kayalvizhi Perunjsiththiranar visited the areas and said what the people want the most is wheel chairs for the maimed. There are thousands. Did India send any? No. When a European charity sent some, they were held at Colombo port for months. Then the charity was told they can take it but must pay syorage fees for those months and import tax. Import tax on donated wheel chairs?

There is a difference between how America gives money and India. America gives money to targeted projects. For example, computer education for Tamil unemployed. India just gives it to Lankan gov knowing well they will use it for their own purpose.
