They are inspiring, kudos to them. It takes compassion (to overcome the stigma) and love too. 

Anyone who adopts even one child- with or without any condition/illness and cares for the child as their own, is to be applauded.  God bless them x 12:)

We used to have this prayer (it takes courage) as one of the morning assembly prayers. Didn't fully understand it back then. Couldn't find a youtube upon quick research, will look more later.
