The above article was published in the Tamil newspaper Dinamani.com today. The incident took place near Vellore with the bride stopping the marriage after the following sequence of events took place:

1. Initially the groom demanded 20 sovereign gold and got it.
2. The day before the marriage, he demanded 5 more soveerign. He got it.
3. He also demanded a motorbike. The girl's family agreed.
4. Then he demanded 40 ? land. This the family refused.
5. Then came the bombshell. The bride had three younger sisters. The guy demanded that he should be able to marry the bride's three sisters also on the same day.
6. The bride could not take it anymore from the sicko. She demanded the marriage stopped.
