I thought we had a three language formula. Somehow the Hindi speaking people do not want to learn any other language and had sabotaged the formula. Now we have a two language formula with Hindi and English for the Hindi speaking people and a three language formula for the rest. The Hindi people show no regard to the cultures of traditions of other linguistic groups. It is time we demand that the Hindi region students start learning one of the South Indian language or Marathi, Bengali or Gujarathi in addition to English.

Uttar Pradeshis typically learn Sanskrit as the third language. I agree that they should have a choice of other languages besides Sanskrit as the third language.
