The above link provides catuvulu from srinatha.

They includes "sirigalanaki".

I request you to post other classic poems from those times . If you can add a context, meaningand links to related material, I would appreciate that.

From another site,  Poem and context:

In scorching SUN and heat and the ArtI coming out of an unquencched thirst
brought out the pun in a form that is truly unforgettable --

"siri gala vAniki cellenu,
taruNulu padiyAru vElu taga penDlADan,
tiripemunakiddarAnDrA,
paramESA ganga viDumu pArvati cAlun.."

These poems portray the wit and humor and those qualities are not limited to
a section of a society or a portion of a literature. They are the elements
that are in everyone's thinking and can be expressed naturally while writing
poems. Many of us can talk equally wittingly and not taking it as far as
personal sarcasm or castigating pun, one can always try to put the idea in
the form of a poem and that is nothing but "cATuvu".

The beauty of this poem is that it describes what God is, as opposed to Upanishadic "neti neti" (na iti = not so) which is God is - not this, not this, etc. and beyond our limited ability to comprehend by ourselves unless He himself grants us the jnaana to understand Him (jnaana prasaadena visuddha tatva tatastu tam pashyate - Mundaka Upanishat). This poem is proof enough that Potana was a self-realized soul.

Because it's a perfectly "secular" poem (no mention of (Rama, Krishna, Hanuman, Allah, Jesus) it was selected as the "praarthana geetam" in the elementary school I attended as a child.

Actually, both positive and negative arguments are used in upanishads.

This particular famous verse by Potana describes cause-effect relationships in which effect can't be separated from cause. Gaudapada (Sankara's teacher's teacher) elaborated on this when he wrote his bhashyam on Brahmasutras.

Potana beautifully describes profound ideas in simple, satvik and sweet verses. His bhagavatam is much more beautiful than that of Vyasa. Telugus are very fortunate that Potana did this work. His impact on Telugu culture is immense and highly positive.

I thought so too, either Tyagaraja or Bhadrachala Ramadas. But the song doesn't have either one's mudra (signature). I checked Raaga.com and another site, and they both say this bhajana song (sarvamangala nama rama) was penned by Sr. Samudrala.
