I can NOT live without my family!
The older I get, More I know I can NOT live without my family.
I used to think that personal freedom would make me happy, but even a day without any of them, is the hardest to pass.
It does not feel like freedom, but some sort of vacuum.
To an extent, that it is not even possible for me.
What will happen when part of this family, kids, fly away?
Uff @ that thought.
G'nite,
TS.

The "family" is two one liter bottles and two quarters (ala `hum do hamare do') of two-dollar hooch.
Even a day without any of them is the hardest to pass. And yet, as the evening progresses, first the kids and then the adults gradually disappear. And then tears start rolling down from the eyeballs. This, alas, is the sad Truth. This..is...TS.

(-:
Glad to know Merlot, that you cannot survive without me as well.
Your existence need not be to post smart-ass comments to me, you know that, dont you?
Be your own, someday.
Best wishes,
TS.

Of course TS. Your are family. Absolutely can't survive without you. Or the mid-week entertainment you so unfailingly provide. *Hugs*

To be "reactive" to someone personally, to a point that it defines your "existence" - is a point to ponder Merlot.
Learn to start new topics yourself.

Unkil, how can discussions ensue if everyone just keeps posting new topics?
If everyone is a leader, and there are no followers, the concept of a leader itself gets negated. So I prefer to remain a humble follower. I follow your topics with much interest and diligence. Please keep posting new topics.

Re: I can NOT live without my family!
How can you never be that leader to post a new topic?
Do you question yourself, or afraid to be judged like other "reactive" folks?
You do not look like someone who is afraid. Why not post your original thoughts than always trying to prove to others by reacting?
Think about it,

And if You are afraid that I'd make fun of your original thoughts, I promise that I'd be respectful in my response - agree or disagree.
G'nite and may you feel powerful,

Re: I can NOT live without my family!
Not good signs. When younger, you want to get away from your parents and have your own personal freedom. When older, you want to hang on to your kids and have them fill your vacuum. You got to let go. Your job is to nurture them until their wings are strong. Once they are, let them fly away.TruthSeeker wrote:The older I get, More I know I can NOT live without my family.

Hi Kinnu,
Ok. Like you wisely suggest - I will let them fly away.
Thanks,

develop strong hobbies and passions independently which have nothing to do with your family. these could be recreational mathematics, music, biking, hiking, or creative writing. nurture your inner self (i am not talking about fortifying yourself with $2/gal hooch). that will help you when you become an empty nester.

@Maxi - Your perceptions aint my truth. You see void in others that exist within you. That is my truth of people like you, or Merlot who are here only to judge others, barely exposing themselves. Scared puppies you are.
