The more China becomes internationally a superpower, the more Dalai Lama is pushed into oblivion. Poor guy!

Any nation - with a long history/ - that becomes a superpower becomes bully. Brits, Germany, Russians, and Japanese. Chinese are no different. Brits and Americans are democratic and hence there are SOME checks and balances, and they are not blatantly and open bullies like the rest.

Expect China to fight India - for its refusal to surrender completely, and becoming a very valuable front for China's other adversaries.Big powers never fight directly but through proxies to wage war. No other country is better suited as a Proxy candidate against China than India. This is in addition to India's own problems with china. remember even Russia tried to use a weak China as a proxy in the 50s, which resulted in its fallout. The situation will be beneficial to India in the SHORT RUN due to all the attention and "help" but runs the risk of losing it all as a pawn in the hands of others. Stronger the Indian economy and military, the more it will be able to withstand the proxy pressure and China's bullying.
